As the Contractor Security Officer you will be responsible for execution and management of contractual program security requirements. You will oversee, monitor, and report on all security aspects of the program’s security policies and procedures. Essential Job Functions Direct and oversee all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and related federal government regulatory requirements for the administration and protection of classified information both in the United States and internationally for all special contracts. Develop, coordinate, implement and direct policies and processes related to the Security functional area. Oversee the development and implementation of security plans to ensure electronic processing of classified information is performed in accordance with NISPOM requirements. Direct and oversee the Security Clearance Process, including processing of new hires and electronic tracking and reporting of all security clearances and status. Direct and oversee the overall operation of the Access Control Center, visitor processing (both classified and unclassified), information security, access control planning, badging for all NISPOM contract employees, and establish accountability of classified documents to ensure access is granted and protection is provided in accordance with NISPOM and corporate policy. Interface with external customers to satisfy their requirements for the protection of classified or unclassified sensitive/technical information entrusted to the corporation. Function as official Facility Security Officer for contracts handled through the PSO. Identify and respond to security requirements of RFPs and participate in key management briefings on industrial security business practices and regulatory compliance as required. Provide direction to project location security personnel and maintain overall responsibility for the PSO’s client Facility Clearance, providing liaison support for other location clearances. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years security management experience. Minimum of five (5) years recent security management experience managing a contract of similar size, scope and complexity. Knowledge & Skills Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, Power Point and Lotus Notes). Experience working with or managing LN and TCN service employees in volatile third‑world environments. Experience with the DoD, DoS, and IC, and knowledgeable of NISPOM. Experience with the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD). Understanding of the approval process for IT systems introduction into classified space. Understanding of DoD and IC community clearance and access process. Security Clearance Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
