As an established real estate owner/management company in business for 90+ years, we are continually growing and stronger than ever, and we are looking for an additional Leasing Specialist to join our team

Our portfolio of buildings consist of multi-family and commercial properties throughout Westchester, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. Our main office is located in Great Neck, Nassau County, near public transportation and highways, but it also has free underground parking for staff.

You will mainly responsible for, but not limited to:

Interacting with brokers, applicants, existing tenants, supers, property managers, various internal department members, etc
Visiting various apartments and retail spaces throughout your assigned buildings
Answering all leasing inquiries via telephone and emails in a timely fashion
Assist with leasing department mailings
Calculating rental information on leases and checking for accuracy
Heavy phone contact with tenants
Report directly to the Office Manager
Responsible for the supervision and guidance of 4-5 leasing assistants.
Great deal of file keeping
Working closely with other departments in our large office

Qualifications:

Knowledgeable of residential leases
Values consistency and accuracy, with the consistent ability to prioritize and multi-task
Strong written, verbal, and oral communications skills
Ability to handle confidential matters
Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
Proficient in utilizing all forms of Social Media and a strong familiarity with all outlets.
Must be detail oriented
Self-Starter
Polish appearance
Working knowledge of DHCR and Rent Stabilization Regulations for NYC and pertinent regulations with government agencies and/or the ability to quickly learn and apply such regulations is a BIG PLUS

Education & Experience:

RE background.
4+ years of consistent leasing working experience
College Background Required

This full-time position will be in our Great Neck (Nassau County) office.
