Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year experience as a diesel mechanic OR a degree/certification applicable to the job duties
* Monday-Friday day positions available at our Mascoutah, IL shop
* Available shifts: 5am-1:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm
* Bring your own tools
* Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred)

Duties:
* Performing mechanical repairs of heavy-duty diesel trucks
* Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
* Welding
* Road test Vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working
* Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, temperature and pressure gauges
* Identify warranty repairs
* Document all work on work orders
* Keep work area clean and safe
* Other duties as assigned
