Interventional Physiatrist/AnesthesiologistPhysical Medicine & Rehabilitation of N.Y., P.C. provides a broad range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic modalities to our patients. Our four offices located in Rego Park, Bushwick, North Bronx, and South Bronx provide an extensive set of services with specialties including: Outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Fluoroscopically guided procedures, Ultrasound guided injections, and Electrodiagostic studies. Each of our offices are committed to exceptional patient care. We pride ourselves on having a friendly and knowledgeable staff, including medical doctors, physical therapists and medical technicians.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and assess patients experiencing acute to chronic pain conditionsProvide comprehensive care for patients undergoing interventional treatments, including pre-procedure education, informed consent, and post-procedure monitoring.Perform Interventional Pain/ Spine ProceduresMaintain high clinical productivityDoctor ProfileInterventional pain management experience, specializing in pain/spine proceduresValid and clear license to practice in NYBroad and current knowledge of evidence based, best practice, and treatment planningExperience with a diverse patient/payer mix (Workers’ compensation, personal injury, no-fault) is a plusSkills & AbilitiesExceptional attention to detail.Wonderful bedside manner.Excellent communicator who can empathize with patients.Ability to communicate effectively with patients.Effective interpersonal skills, problem-solving and analytical skillsBasic computer skillsAbility to understand the urgency of the needs of your patients.Detail-oriented, organized, personable, compassionate.Education & TrainingDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management preferred.Board certification or board eligibility in Pain Medicine (American Board of Anesthesiology, American Board of Pain Medicine, or similar).Valid New York State medical license.Physical RequirementsDuties require extensive standing and walking.Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients.Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.ScheduleFull-Time and/or part-time opportunities availableWill require travel between Bushwick and Rego ParkCompensationW2 Base Salary Commensurate with Skills/Experience + Productivity BonusStarting Salary for Full-time $300,000 to $350,000 annuallyPart-time pay rate would be a competitive hourly rate + Productivity Bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr
