Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support and comply with Cogitic’s Quality Management System.
  • Utilize and gain proficiency in ProShop ERP software for daily tasks and projects.
  • Utilize work orders and blueprints to determine the best machining process with consideration of required tolerances and GD&T, for complex machined components.
  • Utilize Mastercam and NCSimul to provide programs for 3, 4 and 5 axis mill and mill-turn machines.
  • Utilize on machine probing system (Renishaw).
  • Provide input and information for the creation of robust, repeatable processes for machining Heat Resistant Super Alloys (HRSA) and other exotic materials.
  • Select, design and implement fixtures and workholding.
  • Perform hands on tasks in manufacturing to support on time shipment and development of processes and procedures.
