We are seeking Azure DevOps Engineer in Dallas, TX. This position will be responsible for creating and implementing a CI/CD pipeline in Microsoft Azure for our existing software development practices. Looking for extensive experience in Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Services, and Azure Cloud in the capacity of DevOps engineer doing builds and deployments.


Responsibilities

  • Implement, monitor, and manage end-to-end DevOps with industry leading platforms, standards, and practices
  • Design and implement processes that support continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
  • Maintain, improve, and optimize our software development processes
  • Maintain and govern software development quality standards
  • Establish and execute automated build and automated testing procedures
  • Produce detailed timelines for each application release and implement effective project control by monitoring the progress of the software release
  • Drive on-time delivery along with high-quality standards
  • Design and architect scalable, distributed web applications, web/windows services, and cloud-based applications
  • Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup, restores of different environments, and product and infrastructure issues in production environments
  • Continually research and seek out more effective processes to improvements to the company SDLC


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, information systems, or related technical fields with at least two years of cloud design experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in systems engineering in a corporate / enterprise IT environment
  • Minimum of 5+ years' of experience designing, executing, managing, and supporting IT cloud solutions
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience w/ Microsoft Azure.
  • Expert in Azure DevOPs and Azure Kubernetes Services(AKS) and proficient in Azure AppService.
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps/TFS/VSTS.
  • Proficient in Terraform or similar infrastructure automation tools.
  • Experience with cloud services; including open source technology, software development, system engineering, scripting languages, hybrid (on- and off-premises) and multiple cloud provider environments, integration services, logic apps, advanced cloud security, and compute and storage services
  • Experience with developing, managing, or using DevSecOps environments
  • Know several software tools and platforms, such as SQL, Kubernetes (preferably AKS), Spark, Hadoop, Scala, Kafka, Redshift, Docker, and Linux
  • Experience doing on- and off- premises cloud migrations
  • Experience working with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), & Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) based environments
  • Experience with programming languages such as .net, PHP, Python, Java, Java Script, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, or similar
  • A self-starter, detail oriented, responsible team player able to administer several ongoing technical assignments at any one time; where some assignments are routinely unstructured, requiring autonomy, problem solving, and independent judgment
  • Ability to clearly articulate a position (written or verbal) with sound logic, supporting empirical evidence, and impartiality
  • Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel.
