Bilingual expertise is a plusMust be willing to learn and to take direction. Must be willing to attend client interviews and hearings in Immigration Court and at USCIS. Contact us today if you have outstanding skills in the area of immigration law and would like a new challengeAreas of experience: Represent clients in removal proceedings, including helping clients to prepare I-589 applications and collect supporting documents; Advise clients regarding bond hearings and documents for upcoming hearings and interviews; Assist clients to prepare and file I-601 Waivers, I-601A Waivers; Applications for Adjustment of Status; Naturtalization; I-130 Petitions, J-1, E-2, L-1A petitions, O-1 Petitions, EB-1 and NIV Waivers; H-1B Petitions and RFEs, Cancellation of Removal, U and T visas, VAWA, SIJ, PERM and moreResponsibilitiesPreside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projectsPerform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motionsDetermine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysisRepresent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedingsPrepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondenceQualificationsKnowledge of immigration law and experience working in an immigration law firm are required.Second language is a plusAbility to use Microsoft Office is requiredDecision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a mustRequired Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plusMust be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervisionCompensation$80,000 - $110,000 yearlyAbout Henner Law Group pcHenner Law Group P.C. is an immigration law firm based in White Plains, New York. #J-18808-Ljbffr
