OPERATIONS DIRECTOR – Campus Dining Food Service, University of Idaho, Moscow, ID Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services Salary: $105,000–115,000 Chartwells Higher Education is re‑inventing the on‑campus dining experience across more than 300 college and university campuses. We are seeking a self‑motivated and energetic food service leader for the role of Director of Operations at the University of Idaho. This is a high‑volume, premier account that is growing. In this role you will lead food service operations, maintain established costs and quality standards, ensure superior service, and maximize profits. Key Responsibilities Formulate budgets and plans for the operation. Maintain and implement quality standards in all areas of the food service operation. Develop client, customer, and staff relationships to ensure account retention. Direct daily operations to ensure employees have appropriate equipment, inventory, and resources; ensure operating standards and regulatory requirements are met. Develop and implement plans and projects with defined objectives, methods, timetables, and budgets to support client and Chartwells’ strategic plan. Accountable for accurate reporting for the account. Preferred Qualifications BS degree preferred. Five years of food service management experience required. Higher education experience in board and retail operations preferred. Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience required. Strong leadership and communication skills.
