Finance Analyst

Pompeian Olive Oil is actively recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join the Finance team at corporate headquarters in Baltimore on Pulaski Highway. This hybrid role reports to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and focuses on developing the Commercial Finance function and optimizing supply‑chain expenses. Local Maryland candidates are preferred. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related discipline 2‑3 years of progressive accounting or finance related experience Ability to partner with key personnel across Sales & Marketing functions Familiarity with CPG, retail grocery industry customer base preferred Strong working knowledge of computer systems and software applications Able to prioritize multiple tasks with keen eye for detail and passion to produce results Ability to troubleshoot and develop solutions Strong interpersonal and communication skills Pay & Perks Starting range $75,000‑$85,000 with bonus eligibility and opportunities for advancement 401(k) & 401(k) matching Health, Vision, Dental insurance – 100% monthly premium paid by Pompeian for single or family coverage Health Reimbursement Account Paid vacation, 40 hours paid sick leave, 9 paid holidays, 2 paid floating holidays Annual safety shoe allowance Paid time off for Jury Duty, Bereavement Leave, and Volunteer Events Employee Referral Bonus Program Free Employee Assistance Program for employees and household members Employee led programs for wellness, diversity, and planned community events Educational Assistance Program Family Scholarship Program Opportunity to work with a 2025 USA Today Top Workplace, Top 2024 Workplace in manufacturing, compensation & benefits and one of Maryland’s healthiest businesses Responsibilities Use existing Trade Fund planning tools (Blue Planner) to provide analysis and approval on trade investments with business unit managers Build detailed price and cost justifications for new Pompeian branded items, serving as financial advisor to the sales team to support market share growth Assist with private label bids, including cost builds, approved logistics costs, recipe pricing prior to submissions and bidding coordination with partners in Spain Perform post‑promotional ROI analysis and recommend changes to improve trade spend efficiency Present data/analysis and insights to influence future promotions; use trade analytics (promotion ROI analysis) to ensure efficient allocation of trade spend Review current sales forecast and budget to ensure alignment with trends and promotional strategy, and provide insight to improve accuracy Develop pro‑forma financial models upon request to evaluate sales and marketing activity Review cost center spending versus budget/forecast for sales and marketing Lead ad‑hoc projects to enhance Pompeian’s growth and improve work efficiency Ensure all projects comply with environmental regulations and company environmental goals Perform duties and tasks per Pompeian’s mission, goals and core values Other duties as assigned or directed by manager About Us Pompeian – the Olive Oil People – is America’s largest national brand of olive oil, best‑selling vinegars and a variety of cooking sprays.
