Position Summary:
The BDC Manager will oversee all operations of the Business Development Center, focusing on generating quality leads, managing customer communication, and supporting our sales team. This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth and effective communication process for prospective and returning customers, as well as improving the efficiency of our sales funnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and develop the BDC team to reach monthly and quarterly sales and appointment-setting goals.
- Implement training programs to enhance the team's phone, email, and chat skills, focusing on high-quality customer interactions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve team effectiveness.
- Lead Management and Follow-Up:
- Develop and execute strategies to improve lead generation, appointment setting, and follow-up processes.
- Use the CRM system to monitor, track, and manage leads effectively, ensuring that potential customers are handled promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with sales and service departments to maximize sales opportunities and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Sales Strategy and Reporting:
- Analyze key metrics, such as response times, appointment rates, and conversion rates, to assess the performance of the BDC.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on BDC activities, tracking trends and making recommendations to enhance operations.
- Stay up-to-date with automotive industry trends, dealership promotions, and competitor strategies to adapt approaches accordingly.
- Customer Engagement and Retention:
- Ensure that all customer interactions reflect the high standards of Ed Voyles Kia, focusing on customer satisfaction and retention.
- Implement and refine processes for consistent and effective follow-up with customers, including post-appointment and post-sale touchpoints.
- Oversee the handling of online reviews and inquiries to maintain a positive online reputation for the dealership.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a BDC or similar automotive role, with a proven track record in lead generation and team management.
- Proficiency with CRM software and automotive industry sales tools.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
