OverviewERM is hiring a motivated hands-on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant to join our Performance & Assurance technical team in Seattle, WA. This position is a full-time (40 hours per week), limited-term role for 4 months, renewable. The role requires a minimum of 3 days on-site.ResponsibilitiesPerform compliance audits to assess client compliance with applicable health, safety, or environmental regulatory requirements, client standards, or management systems.Support clients’ safety performance through training, field coaching, and targeted EHS assessments.Identify follow-up corrective actions to close audit findings.Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance and management system projects across areas such as R&D laboratory safety, chemical safety, machine guarding, laser safety, robotics safety, hazardous materials use/storage/waste, and EHS auditing.Develop and implement EHS compliance procedures, plans, permits, and reports.Manage tasks within assigned scope, budget, and schedule to ensure quality of project deliverables.Build client relationships and strive to exceed expectations to support repeat business.Support ERM Partners and Project Managers in effectively managing and delivering projects.Collaborate with other ERM employees to build strong cross-team relationships.RequirementsBS in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or related discipline preferred.A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience providing EHS support with emphasis on health and safety.Effective written and verbal communication, organization, and analytical skills; experience documenting detailed technical data and reports is a plus.Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, manage multiple assignments, meet strict deadlines, and reprioritize tasks as needed.Valid driver’s license and good driving record.Pay and BenefitsPay transparency: For the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Consultant position, the anticipated annual base pay is $88,236– $132,849 ($42.42/hr - $63.86/hr USD), limited-term, non-exempt. Final pay within this range will be based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, performance, travel requirements, and business needs. The company may adjust or place employees outside this range based on these factors. Bonus eligibility may apply in some circumstances.Benefits include paid time off, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life and disability insurance.
