This role is open due to a retirement and is with an industry leading provider that owns and operates the utility plant looking for an individual with strong electrical experience. This is an opportunity to join an established IC&E department and grow within the organization.

Job Description:

  • Repairs, maintains, and installs wiring, motors (up to 14KV motors), motor controls, PLC's, AC/DC Drives, transformers, motors, generators, lighting, instrumentation, valves and other electrical systems.
  • Maintain and repair equipment -Distribute Control System (DCS), PLC Equipment, variable speed drives, level, pressure and temperature controls, automatic and pneumatic controls for flow pressure, turbine generators, breakers and power distribution equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and servicing all production and support equipment within the facility in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Provides technical support by operating a variety of electrical testing equipment in locating and determining types of electrical malfunctions within the mill.
