The Technology Project Manager position is responsible for proactively managing the technical installation and maintenance requests for SUSA clients, and the internal Securitas teams. The Technology Project Manager is part technical support engineer, part customer champion, and part relationship manager for a defined group of post‑implementation customer accounts. Office Location: Boston, MA Primary Responsibilities Coordinate with Securitas Technology to ensure completion of installation projects, including verification that the job site is ready for commencement of work and that subcontractors maintain appropriate schedules and perform work properly. Plan and organize customer acceptance of installation projects, ensuring system functionality and customer satisfaction. Ensure that all assigned installation projects are handled properly in accordance with Securitas Technology policies and procedures, are completed on time, and are within budget. Proactively manage maintenance contracts and serve as a single point of contact for customer issues. Document, track, and support compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Drive issue resolution using standard processes and procedures in coordination with supporting resources. Assist with other technical support issues as needed, including response to service calls. Proactively manage, measure, and track customer tickets to ensure their timely resolution. Provide timely status updates, root‑cause analyses, and strategies to address issues. Escalate issues as appropriate, applying fundamental troubleshooting skills prior to escalation. Ensure ticket data is accurate and regularly updated (statuses, owners, and other key details). Collaborate with and support other team members. Recognize revenue opportunities and coordinate with the Technology Sales Engineer. Assist with creation of service tickets until clients are in the system and ensure proper documentation in the system. Follow up on open and aged service tickets to ensure progress and timely closure. Coordinate with District Service Managers and Dispatchers to verify service completion. Maintain communication with clients regarding ticket updates, scheduling, and resolution status. Complete other tasks as assigned. Education / Experience 4‑year degree is preferred. At least 5 years’ experience with security system installations including Access Control and Video Security System. Technical background in Video security systems, access control, and electronic technology (low voltage), IP and Analog. Knowledge of Milestone VMS and Axis cameras (certification preferred). Understanding of job safety practices. Electrical background and knowledge of electrical materials. Must be proficient in using Project Management software (i.e., Microsoft Project). License holder for installation (needs vary across state) highly desirable. Competencies Excellent planning, organization and time management skills. Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently. Skill in clear and concise oral and written communication. Strong customer service and results orientation. Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. Ability to be an effective team member and handle project assignments responsibly. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form. A willingness to learn is essential as the position adapts to changes in the organization. Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
