Personnel Security Analyst

MUST:
Must have a active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Experienced Personnel Security Specialist
8+ years of DoD Security experience
Strong experience with administrative regulations and sanctions that apply to violations or non-compliance with security regulations
Extensive experience using the Defense Information Security System (DISS)
Knowledge of and experience applying Information Security policies and guidelines
Knowledge of and experience applying Operations Security (OPSEC) procedures and policies
Experience analyzing various types of materials, to develop information regarding security vulnerabilities as it would apply to approval or denial of facility or information system access
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite to include : Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Highly analytical
Team oriented and able to work well and collaborate with others
Relevant Security certs are preferred
Bachelor s Degree in related field
DUTIES:
Work directly under senior Security members as a support to the Government Personnel/Physical Security Officer
Supports all duties required to obtain and maintain all accreditations of DoD office space
Help to review, interpret and implement DoD security regulations and policies
Experience analyzing, evaluating, and making recommendations concerning alternative approaches to program security protection policies, disclosure of information and accreditation processes
Stay up to date with DoD security regulations and policies
Help to implement and monitor current policies, instructions, procedures, and methods for functions and activities such as: document marking, safeguarding and use, personnel access controls, physical storage, and controls, and transferring, transmitting, reproducing, downgrading, and destroying classified information
Performs all duties required for completion and submission of reports to government agencies
Performs all duties required for completion and submission of reports to government agencies
Performs functions required to obtain security clearances for the DoD staff
Supports all functions related to briefing and debriefing of DoD staff
Ensures that DoD staff, consultants and subcontractors are aware of conditions and requirements for maintaining security clearances
Conducts security briefings and presentations required by the DoD
Liaisons with government agencies regarding security clearances and classified visits
Designates the proper controls for handling classified documents and/or hardware belonging to government agencies
Manage all actions required for CAC issuance
Support and assist with ordering and issuing SIPR tokens
Support and assist with onboarding of new personnel
