As a Senior Manager of Software Development, you’ll be responsible for management of a team of software professionals who deliver customer-facing and back office software solutions. In addition, responsible for day-to-day management of software development teams in all facets of hiring, performance management and growth opportunities.



MANAGER, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENJOY MOST

Manage a development team that operates cross-functionally with product, operations, and testing teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of code.
Provide team support and direction on shifting priorities for new and existing projects as well as enterprise initiatives. Implement software proposals and estimates scope of work.
Escalation point for internal partners to assist in resolving roadblocks and mitigating risks to ensure successful on-time software product delivery.
Provide input to management regarding technical issues, strategic planning of projects, system operations, and new software development and deployment.
Experience:Software Engineering experience - 6+ years
Education:BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience


Knowledge of Java, JavaScript or Python and modern software approaches and architectures


Attention to detail and quality with effective problem solving and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of automation, testing, and code quality
Experience leading teams in a Agile/Scrum environment


Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to take ownership and make technical decisions on software development projects
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Travel Ability:Office Environment


Schedule:Full time


Agile software development experience including leading Agile teams, familiarity with Agile ceremonies.
Previous data analytics software experience
Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and an automated testing mindset
Strong familiarity with software architecture patterns and their application
