The Cook II assists the Cook I and the Chef on Duty in the daily production and fabrication of food products for cafeteria, banquet, Dining Room and Fine Dining Room.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

BASIC FUNCTION: The Cook assists the Executive Chef, Sous Chef and Lead Line Cook in the production and fabrication of food products for the employee cafeteria, banquet events, dining room and poolside operations.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
1. Two years experience in high volume food production
2. High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
3. Meet governmental health requirements
4. Ability to operate kitchen equipment
5. Ability to properly handle knives and all other kitchen slicing equipment
6. Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 40 lbs. (NOTE: kitchen equipment, food and non-food items)
7. Ability to effectively communicate in the English language

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Communicating daily with the Cook I for job assignments
2. Production and fabrication of food products daily for the employee cafeteria, banquet functions, dining room and poolside operations
3. Maintaining a high level of sanitation and safety in the Kitchen
4. Adhere to the policies of the Resort as set forth in the Employee Handbook and report any observed violations to Human Resources
6. Maintain the highest level of employee/guest relations
7. Maintain a good working relationship with all co-workers and leaders

MARIGINAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
2. Any other task, written or verbal, assigned by Management
