Director of Network Portfolio

About the roleThe Director of Network Portfolio is responsible for overseeing the strategy, development, delivery, and ongoing evolution of Computacenter’s managed services Network portfolio. The role consists of managing and directing a team of Product & Product Marketing Managers, collaborating with sales and the wider marketing team.The Director of Network Portfolio will work closely with key internal & external stakeholders to shape and develop our portfolio with the relevant offerings and products. They will be required to monitor and analyze customer and market trends to ensure the Computacenter Managed Services portfolio remains competitive and relevant. They will be responsible for identifying and managing risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, managing budgets and financial performance. The role will influence and contribute to the divisional strategy, having authority for all aspects of business area and be fully accountable for actions and decisions of self and others.Reporting to the Director of Portfolio and Design, the candidate will be required to play a key role in the management team, working alongside the other Managed Services Product Portfolio Directors.Travel is required at least once a month to Europe mainlyWhat you'll be doingAccountable for Network Managed Service portfolio, driving growth in this key portfolio areaCreate future vision and direction for Group Managed Services Network portfolioBuild productive and collaborative relationships with key Stakeholders specifically Sales and other Portfolio teams in the groupIncrease the profile of the Portfolio with Analysts and the market by engaging in studies, awards, and ensure there is a clear thought leadership and engagement strategy, (required tocommission and produce credible con-tent) and must have an active profile and presence on LinkedInLead team of Product Managers and direct Product Marketing Managers defining, developing and continuously evolving the Managed Service Propositions that make up the Computacenter portfolioDrive organizational change within Portfolio Innovation & ManagementContribute to the wider Computacenter Managed Service business strategy and prioritize projects and objectives accordingly to meet divisional objectivesInfluence across Group Technology Sourcing & Group Professional Services to achieve a common Computa-center goal and vision for Network portfolioTake accountability for the delivery of business focused projects/deliverables to defined targetsEstablishes productive relationships and networks at executive level to build and maintain customer relation-shipsAccountable for overall budget/ P&L ensuring that spend is in line with budget definedAccountable for ensuring adoption of CC best practice and service offerings to ensure consistency of serviceCreates advocates of our customersWhat you haveLegally eligible to work in the United StatesBachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experienceGrowth for Group Managed Services - Increasing the Managed Service Contract Base and ContributionUtilization of standard service offerings in pipeline and contractsCustomer and analyst feedback on relevance of Managed Service portfolio, service offerings and service productsReturn on portfolio development investmentPrevious Leadership experience.Experience of managing across cultures.Ability to build effective and constructive relationships up to and including Senior Management level within any organization.Fully qualified in relevant professional qualification and potentially post graduate qualifications.Proven track record and experience of working in a challenging commercial environment.Experience of managing P&L/budgets.Methodology experience e.g. Prince2 TOGAF, ITILExperience of divisional area’s lifecycles, methodologies, tools and techniques.Dealing with and influencing multi-tier management.Experience of working at a strategic level to develop divisional strategy and enable the business to perform effectively.Leadership of virtual teams across the globeAbility to manage stakeholders in a highly political environment.Understanding and appreciation of competitors and their strategy.International travel mobilityWhat you can expectThere’s so much more to enjoy about being at Computacenter than just having a rewarding career.
