Team Lead Legal (Crypto / Europe / fulltime) 4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants We are looking for an experienced Team Lead Legal to join our European crypto project — a fast-growing ecosystem providing blockchain-based financial services, exchange, and payment solutions. The role involves leading the legal department, ensuring compliance with European regulations, and supporting strategic business development in the cryptocurrency industry. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the legal team across EU operations. Ensure full compliance with MiCA, AML/CTF, GDPR, and other relevant EU financial regulations. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, partnership agreements, and investor documentation. Advise management on corporate structure, licensing, and risk mitigation strategies. Supervise legal due diligence for token listings, exchange operations, and payment integrations. Coordinate communication with external legal advisors, auditors, and regulators. Monitor regulatory developments and implement internal policies accordingly. Report directly to top management and participate in strategic decision‑making. Requirements Master’s degree in Law (LL.M or equivalent). 5+ years of experience in fintech, blockchain, or financial law. Strong knowledge of EU crypto regulations (MiCA, AMLD5/6, GDPR). Proven leadership experience in managing a legal or compliance team. Excellent command of English (additional European languages are a plus). Russian or Ukrainian will be an advantage. Strong attention to detail and the ability to make balanced legal and business decisions.
