Dinter Engineering Company is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our team The applicants will need 2-5 years relevant experience in the Electrical Consulting Field, has PE license or EIT and ready to take PE exam, and be located in our Reno office. This position is full time and located in the Reno, NV corporate office.Qualifications/Performance:Investigations and reportsTesting, oversight and evaluatingFeasibility studies and master plansEnergy auditsPeer review/plan check/design reviewArc Flash Studies and associated labelingDesigns, drawings, specifications and cost opinionsConsultation during bidding and construction phasesConstruction observation and supportSystem startup oversight“As-built” plans and documents“Design-Build” contractor design assistanceProficiency in AutoCADEffective written and verbal communicationUS Citizen or Green Card holderDinter is a Nevada-certified Local Emerging Small Business based in Reno, Nevada, which has provided electrical design for over five decades, particularly for municipal, state and federal government clients, and includes a dedicated Airfield Electrical Department for airfield power, lighting, signage and NAVAIDS systems. Dinter's staff currently numbers 12 and is comprised of professional engineers licensed in 11 states and project managers, designers, CADD and Revit® BIM technicians, and administrative personnel with many years of experience.Dinter’s qualifications include engineering many projects that involve sewer systems, municipal wells, water storage, wastewater treatment plants, pressure-reducing stations, booster pump stations, lift stations, etc. – providing designs for standby generators; SCADA telemetry; control equipment; power and lighting systems for pump houses and chlorination buildings; etc., for many different city and county agencies.Dinter is committed to providing first rate work, efficiently, within budget, on time and with the quality expected.
