CT Technologist III Sentara Health – Sentara Obici Hospital Location: Suffolk, VA Shift: Swing Shift (Mon‑Fri 11:00 am‑7:30 pm) Sign‑On Bonus: $20,000 for qualified candidates. Overview Perform Computed Tomography (CT) examinations, including Cardiac CTA, under the direction of a qualified physician. Provide high‑quality imaging, patient education, safety, and documentation. Responsibilities Perform CT examinations according to established protocols. Conduct Cardiac CTA examinations. Operate CT equipment safely. Educate patients and families about procedures. Administer CT contrast per protocol. Complete department documentation and reports. Maintain equipment cleanliness and operational status. Monitor and manage supply inventory. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Qualifications Trade School Graduate – Radiologic Technology (Required). Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience (Required). Certification: ARRT or CNMT (Required); must obtain ARRT (CT) Advanced Registry within 2 years of hire. BLS certification. Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision plans.
