We work in an open environment where ideas are shared across all disciplines, and there are ample opportunities for advancement based on excellence.Job SummaryMillennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a Software Engineer with deep LabVIEW expertise to join our Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) team. In this role, you’ll design and develop software that powers test systems, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups, and custom electrical test equipment used to validate spacecraft hardware.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain LabVIEW applications for EGSE and HIL systemsArchitect scalable software solutions for real-time test and validation of embedded systemsDevelop robust, maintainable, and well-documented code following modern software engineering principlesInterface with NI hardware including PXI, cRIO, DAQ, and related instrumentationIntegrate software with TestStand for sequencing and automationCollaborate with cross-functional teams (ATLO, Systems, Manufacturing) to define software requirements and test strategiesTroubleshoot and support deployed test systems in production and environmental test labsContribute to DevOps pipelines for version control, test automation, and deployment (GitLab CI/CD)Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team-wide best practices and coding standardsOwn full lifecycle of software projects from architecture to deploymentMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical disciplineProfessional experience developing LabVIEW applications (not just coursework or exposure)Solid understanding of instrumentation, test systems, and data acquisitionStrong debugging, integration, and troubleshooting skills in a hardware-in-the-loop environmentFamiliarity with Git, issue tracking, and structured software development processesPreferred Qualifications5+ years of professional LabVIEW development experienceCertified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or higherExperience with NI TestStandExperience with EGSE or test automation in aerospace or defenseExperience with CI/CD tools, containers, or virtual machinesKnowledge of NASA or MIL-STD environmental test protocolsActive TS/SCI clearanceSummary Pay-RangeLevel 2: $85,850 - $126,250Level 3: $104,550 - $153,750Benefits And PerksMillennium Space Systems offers a very competitive benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, and 401k plan.Before Applying, Please NoteMillennium is DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant Company.
