OverviewTutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to join the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) project in Honolulu, HI. The expected salary range is $140,000 - $160,000 depending upon experience. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. Construction is expected to commence in the second half of 2025 and be substantially completed in 2030.Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: ConstructionResponsibilitiesMeet daily with project crews to review the production schedule and confirm materials, equipment and resources are available to continue production on schedule and within budgetCollect, coordinate and analyze shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements and project data to ensure quality and contract specification complianceProvide technical input for project work plan and scheduling; identify risk elements that could impact budget or scheduleEvaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections to track project performance; document daily activities using approved methods and technologiesPerform additional assignments per management’s directionRemit accurate project quantity input and controls using assigned project cost coding; coordinate with Company finance and accounting on time, materials, equipment and subcontractor needsReview and approve daily timecards for all Company construction crews; resolve timecard inquiries with Office Manager, payroll and supervisorsReview project specifications for quality assurance; initiate and manage certificates, inspections and other documentation for construction productionPlan field layout with construction crews and engineering leaders; ensure utilities and commercial lines are marked before production and obtain permits as neededConduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to ensure a safe and compliant work environment; attend weekly safety meetings and present field analysis as neededAssist the estimating team with project schedules and provide technical input as neededAssist the development of design drawings and provide technical input as neededCoordinate subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews as neededReconcile the job close-out checklist with the owner representative and field crews at project endMaintain knowledge of Company values and strategic planRequirementsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering, structural engineering or construction managementFour plus years of structural engineering or heavy highway experience preferredKnowledge of scheduling processes and industry best practicesKnowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials and standards applicable to the projectAbility to assume responsibility and communicate effectively with othersAbility to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environmentProficient verbal and written communication skillsProven self-starter with motivation to learn and grow knowledgeKnowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferredEqual Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
