The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling our fire protection products and services to current and new customers. This role requires developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients to increase sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and clients
  • Identify new sales opportunities and follow up on potential leads
  • Demonstrate product functionality to customers based on their needs
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management
  • Notify existing and previous customers of new products, services, and enhancements
  • Keep detailed records of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and customer or vendor relationship problems
  • Provide regular territory sales forecasts

Education and Qualifications:

  • A college degree is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience is acceptable
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Fire Protection is required
  • Prior experience in Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV, Access control, Extinguisher, and Hoods is necessary
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills are essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment is crucial
