Pay Range Minimum $39.49 Midpoint $52.33 Maximum $65.16 Experience Required: Minimum five (5) years of plant maintenance experience. Preferred: Ten (10) years of plant maintenance experience. Education Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent. Steam license and/or certificate of training from any recognized college or trade school. Training Required: Trade school or on the job training with recognized service organization. Specialized Skills Required: Ability to work in a busy patient and public environment. Ability to communicate effectively in English - both verbally and in writing. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times according to current HIPAA laws. Ability to work day, evening, night and weekend shifts as assigned. Ability to work on own with only minimal supervision. Preferred: Certification in one or more of the following: Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Boiler and Central Plant Operations. EPA Certification. Licensure Required: Steam Engineer Work Environments - Functional Demand Heavy - Very high energy level Lift over 50 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. a distance of 30 feet. Push/pull > 200 lbs. (ie. Patients on bed, stretcher) Lateral transfer or max assist sit to stand transfer.
