Mechanical Drafter

Mechanical Drafters (3-month temp contract)
(2 Locations: Massachusets and Maryland)

Essential Functions Support engineers by creating and updating prints for all products. Help with standardizing of documentation for designs. Complete ECO and Redline print updates. Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis. Create engineering drawings and designs for production and manufacturing. Create design specifications, documentation, and material lists. Prepare complete documentation packages for engineers. Verify drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations. Developing technical reports for engineers. Other duties as assigned.










Experience and Skills SolidWorks (3-5+ years’ experience) Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time. Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Interpersonal skills to work within a team, taking direction from Project Managers and Engineers. Time management skills to complete error-free work within the required timeframe. Communication skills with an emphasis on reading and writing for creating documentation and reports. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop creative solutions







Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required Associates Mechanical Engineering or SolidWorks Certification, preferred.
