Dever, Inc., based in Lexington, KY, is a multi-faceted company specializing in golf car and utility vehicle rentals, sales, and service, as well as a service provider of feed, hay, and bedding products to horse show exhibitors at the Kentucky Horse Park. Founded in 1978, Dever, Inc. has grown from a local hay supplier and small golf car operation to a nationwide special event company with major events in virtually every state in the U.S.

Dever, Inc.is currently looking for a Parts/Inventory Manager that is motivated to succeed, can handle multiple projects, has good work ethic, and can deliver superior customer service. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of parts management, inventory controls, excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, strong organizational, and planning skills. Functional Job Duties:

·       Manage all aspects of the parts department including purchase orders, inventory control, and distribution

·       Maintain supplier/vendor relationships and negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effective parts purchasing

·       Keep accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to prevent fast moving parts shortages and catch inaccuracies in inventory

·       Coordinate with the service department, build team, distributorship, and retail stores to fulfill parts requests in a timely manner

·       Develop & implement inventory control processes at corporate center and facilitate to all company divisions

  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports as needed

Qualifications:

·       Proven experience in parts management

·       Knowledge of supply chain management, purchasing, and procurement

·       Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to forecast market trends & source new products
  • Proficient in inventory management systems with a strong understanding of principles & best practices

·       NetSuite experience a plus
