Overview Geriatrician Physician — Geriatrics The Geriatrician Physician will be a member of one of our adult primary care practices, providing care in the office, nursing home, and sub-acute settings. Saint Peter's University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. The hospital employs more than 3,600 healthcare professionals and support personnel, with more than 1,000 doctors and dentists on staff, treating over 23,000 inpatients and more than 245,000 outpatients yearly. Requirements Successful completion of an appropriate ACGME or AOA accredited residency and/or fellowship MD or DO licensed in the State of New Jersey Board-Certified or eligible in Geriatric Medicine CDS and DEA license required Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital liability insurance Full-time compensation at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System ranges from $175,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by factors including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and productivity/engagement/quality metrics.
