Base pay range $275,000.00/yr - $290,000.00/yr Job Summary Ekspert Counsel has an opening in the Los Angeles office of an AmLaw100 firm for a Counsel in their Labor & Employment Department. The ideal candidate will have 9 to 12 years of relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Experience in defending against single plaintiff litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, reasonable accommodation. Experience with PAGA matters. Experience with class actions. Ability to work cases from start to finish, independently. Strong research, writing skills, and academic record. Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery. Experience drafting and arguing motions including dispositive and discovery motions. Experience taking and defending deposition including taking plaintiffs deposition and defending deposition of corporate witnesses. Experience in employment counseling on federal and state employment laws and regulations. Qualifications 9-12 years of experience as an Attorney in Labor & Employment. Juris Doctorate is required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California.
