Above all, they believe that every person, patient and staff member who steps foot in their office should be treated with respect, and should leave their office feeling valued.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, treat and manage disorders of the visual system, eye diseases, and injuriesConfidently and correctly prescribe glasses and contacts as neededReview prescriptions and identify special and complex needsPerform work accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and patient volumeDiagnose, treat and manage vision and eye health conditionsIn addition to prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, be knowledgeable in treatment options using pharmaceuticals, low vision, vision therapy, and surgical proceduresProvide pre- and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgeryEvaluate patients for the presence of diseases such as diabetes and refer patients to other healthcare providers as appropriatePromote eye health by counseling patients, including explaining how to clean and wear contact lensesSee 3 patients per hourKnowledge and SkillsStrong communicator and listener to patients and associatesStrong interpersonal skills (friendly, caring, patient)Leadership and teamwork skillsSharp decision-making skillsExperience with different technologies, specifically EMR/EHRBenefitsHealth InsuranceDental Insurance401KDisability InsuranceM-F, no SaturdaysMinimum qualificationsDoctor of Optometry degree (O.D.)Valid NC licenseTo apply please email your CV / resume to marrington@etsvision.comMarc ArringtonPhone/text : (540) 206-2757Email:marrington@etsvision.comWebsite: www.etsvision.comETS Vision specializes in recruiting Optometrists and Ophthalmologists for top practices across the country.
