Qualifications and Experience Requirements

  • :Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • .Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned

  • .Ability to instruct At-Risk students and manage student behavior

As a High School ESL Teacher, you will analyze student performance data to provide targeted instruction and assist classroom teachers with the ESL program. You will plan and implement tailored study programs, use various instructional techniques, and identify at-risk students to develop individual intervention strategies. Responsibilities include preparing for classes, encouraging appropriate classroom behavior, assessing student progress, and maintaining accurate records. You will also participate in staff development, attend meetings, maintain professional relationships, and ensure open communication with students, parents, and community members. Additionally, you will uphold the district’s educational goals and continuously improve your professional competence while performing other assigned dutie
