*Job Description*
Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City – Plaza location is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinic.

This clinic supports Hepatology, HPB surgery and GI specialties . As an RN on this team, you will be responsible for working to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices

*The Shift:*

This is a Monday through Friday day shift position.
*The Work:*

* Collects information from patient callers to assess their condition
* Schedules emergent need patient appointments
* Identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations over the phone
* Consults physicians about patient care needs
* Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice
* Subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing
* Enters admission orders as directed by provider

We are looking for patient centered nurses who are committed to providing a high quality of care. This team is seeking nursing professionals who are compassionate, hard-working, and team focused. To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional demeanor is required at all times. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties, LPN job duties, or other office duties as needed.
