Whether you are a recent graduate with untapped potential or a professional with provenexperience, we invite you to discover a career path designed for you.Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwestwith14officeslocatedthroughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.ResponsibilitiesConduct surveys to determine property boundaries.Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, and reports of surveys.Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as GPS equipment, theodolites, and total stations.Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to deliver accurate land assessments.Research legal records, survey records, and land titles to understand the context of a land area.Supervise and manage field staff to ensure survey accuracy and efficiency.Prepare and present reports on survey results to clients and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to land surveysAdvise on land development and construction projects based on survey results.QualificationsProfessional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure.Bachelor’s degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or related field.Proficiency in modern surveying technology and software.Experience with Geographic Information System (GIS) software.Strong knowledge of local and federal surveying laws and regulations.Minimum of 5 years experience in land surveying.Valid driver’s license.Ability to travel.Benefits and PerksWe offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
