Butterball is a premier employer in the Arkansas area, and we are hiring immediately for a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician. Do you have experience with ammonia systems in Industrial Maintenance? Have you completed an Industrial Maintenance Training program and are familiar with Ammonia systems? li>Academic Tuition Reimbursement

Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits Employee Assistance Program Provide routine inspections of all temperature logs, ammonia detection alarms and general refrigeration operating systems.Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment.Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust.Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations with proper supervision.Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and /or safety issues/concerns.Maintain inventory control on parts and supplies for refrigeration systems.Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and plant facilities.Supervise/direct all refrigeration contractor tasks.Adheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) product standards and guidelines.Must be able to work shifts as assigned such as weekends, holidays, and overtime as scheduled.Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.Ammonia refrigeration systems experience (desired) Incumbents may use calculators, computers, telephones, and other office equipment during normal workdays.Use repetitive motions using upper and lower extremities, mount, and dismount equipment on a continual basis.Will be subject to working on mechanical and stationary working platforms more than 40 ft.Butterball, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to the fair and impartial treatment of all employees and applicants for employment without regard to gender, age, race, religion, color, national origin, physical or mental disability, military/veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, genetic information, marital status, parental status, pregnancy, or any other status protected by law.This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of Butterball’s Drug/Alcohol Screening & Testing Policy. p>Job Type: Full-time
