DescriptionProject Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low‑latency, high‑speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.We're seeking a talented Corporate Counsel professional to help transform internet access worldwide through Project Kuiper. You'll play a pivotal role in negotiating contracts that support our mission to provide low‑latency, high‑speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.Export Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Some travel, domestic and international, will be required.Key job responsibilitiesNegotiate and draft comprehensive contracts for commercial customers and channel partners, with a focus on mobility engagementsDevelop innovative legal strategies that support business objectives while managing organizational riskCounsel business teams on complex contractual and legal considerationsCreate scalable legal processes that enable rapid business decision‑makingCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to support Project Kuiper's global connectivity goalsA day in the lifeYour day will be a blend of strategic legal problem‑solving and collaborative innovation. You'll engage with cross‑functional teams, crafting agreements that balance legal precision with business agility. From reviewing and negotiating mobility contracts to developing creative legal strategies, you'll be at the forefront of expanding satellite connectivity.About the teamOur legal team is a collaborative network of forward‑thinking professionals dedicated to supporting transformative technology initiatives. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market.
