New York, United States Northwell Health Physician Partners Full time

The Northwell Health Cancer Institute seeks a full-time, board-certified hematologist to provide Benign and Malignant Hematology care and join the Lenox Hill Hospital practice based in Manhattan. Our practice, located in the beautiful, family-friendly Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan is a boutique, patient-centered program. Our clinicians and patients move seamlessly between Lenox Hill Hospital, Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital (MEETH) and our nearby practices, seamlessly connected to a growing clinical research portfolio, educational programming for fellows and clinical trainees, and comprehensive primary and specialty care. Hematology treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, infusions, and transfusions are provided in a brand-new infusion center at MEETH.

Our team includes surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, nurses, social workers, geneticists, and counselors. This multidisciplinary approach ensures that we provide the best care and outcome possible while meeting all your physical and emotional needs. Our dedicated inpatient oncology unit and outpatient infusion and radiation centers are staffed by specially trained oncology nurses. The distinguished faculty at Lenox Hill Hospital have trained and worked at some of the most prestigious academic institutions in their fields and have achieved regional, national, and international recognition for their work in clinical care, research, and education.

The cancer program at Lenox Hill Hospital is part of the Northwell Health Cancer Institute, which treats more than 16,000 patients with cancer, giving patients access to the services of more than 200 Cancer Institute physicians in more than 25 sub-specialties. The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research is home to Northwell Health’s research and is an epicenter for scientific discovery and innovation, including basic science and clinical research in molecular medicine, genetics, oncology, brain research, mental health, autoimmunity, and bioelectronic medicine. In 2015, Northwell Health and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory began a strategic affiliation to accelerate cancer research, diagnosis, and treatment. This collaboration offers the ability to deliver cancer therapeutics to patients throughout the region, while also meeting the comprehensive medical and surgical needs of those with cancer and at risk of the disease.

Northwell Health is New York State’s largest health care provider and private employer, with 23 hospitals, more than 600 outpatient facilities and nearly 15,000 affiliated physicians. We care for over two million people annually in the New York metro area and beyond, thanks to philanthropic support from our communities. Our 66,000 employees – 15,000-plus nurses and 4,000 employed doctors, including members of Northwell Health Physician Partners – are working to change health care for the better. We’re making breakthroughs in medicine at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. We're training the next generation of medical professionals at the visionary Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and the Hofstra Northwell School of Graduate Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies.
