Job Summary and Qualifications You will direct all functions of the Medical Staff Services Department and perform a variety of tasks requiring initiative, independent judgement, discretion, diplomacy, and substantial knowledge of Hospital and Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules & Regulations, and Policies & Procedures. You will develop long‑term plans, goals, and objectives of the Medical Staff and Medical Staff Services. You will establish formal means of accountability to the Board of Trustees for Medical Staff activities, and ensure JCAHO compliance in all areas of Medical Staff Services. You will act as the liaison between Administration and physicians and respond appropriately to the business and social needs expressed by hospital physicians. Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree preferred but not required. Minimum of 2 years of college or university work with experience with physicians and community relations required. Medical Staff position requires certification by the National Association of Medical Staff Services. Minimum of 3 years experience in management in Medical Staff Services setting and a thorough understanding of goals, objectives, and purpose of Medical Staff Services required.
