We are restructuring our team to best support its growth and the needs of our residents We are currently hiring for CNAs to work the floor. However, there is a path of progression for our CNAs - to either become a CNA Lead or CNA Mentor. In addition, our CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $6,000/year applied towards a nursing program.**CNA Leads provide additional support to the CNAs on the floor, and CNA Mentors who will embrace new CNAs and help them in their transition to joining our team. If you want a supportive team beside you, grateful residents around you, and a place to grow as a nursing assistant - you've found itHours: We have 8-hour shifts, either 6 AM to 2 PM (DAYS), 2 PM to 10 PM (AFTERNOONS), or 10 PM to 6 AM (NIGHTS). The training period will be tailored to each individual, longer or shorter depending on comfort level and experienceWhat do we ask from you?RequirementsEffective communicationA patient attitude while working with residents and coworkersWillingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term careWillingness to obtain certification within 120-days of employmentAdditional requirements for the CNA Leads and Mentors will be discussed during the interview processJob DutiesAnswer residents' call lights to determine needsTurn and reposition residents while they are in bedProvide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercisingReview dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate dietRecord food and liquid intake and output as necessaryReporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortableMore about Sandy Health & RehabOur goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care.
