We’ll expect you to utilize your full range of product design, interaction design and visual design skills, while contributing to high-level strategic decisions with product and executive partners.Join a broad group of thinkers and do some of the most meaningful work of your career.This posting represents different full-time roles across the Meta company.Product Designer Responsibilities:Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our 2 billion plus usersDesign flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfacesDesign new experiences or layouts that evolve and define visual systemsContribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of Facebook productsGive and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually improve for qualityDrive a partnership with product managers, engineers, researchers and content strategists in order to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launchWillingness to represent work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly communicating the goals and conceptsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field4+ years designing complex software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectivesExperience conducting advanced usability testing and gathers feedback from varied stakeholders to inform product strategyExperience developing and implementing design strategies, leads design efforts, and presents to executive-level stakeholdersProficiency in prototyping tools and building high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design conceptsPreferred Qualifications:Experience connecting your work with other related initiatives across the company while driving collaborationExamples of leadership in non-product dimensions that have made a team stronger and positively impacted the work environment such as taking on mentorship opportunitiesAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
