Position Overview:
A Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) is essential in providing exceptional nursing services to our residents. This role involves not only delivering high-quality direct care but also supervising the daily nursing activities performed by Nursing Assistants, while effectively coordinating all facets of a resident's care with various departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the Admission and Discharge processes
  • Prepare and complete accident and incident reports, conducting necessary follow-up investigations
  • Accurately transcribe Physician orders and document pertinent resident information, notifying the physician and family as needed
  • Verify medication orders for precision and thoroughness
  • Adapt to and utilize the Electronic Medical Record system
  • Administer medications according to physician directives
  • Engage in the Care Planning Process, actively participating in Care conferences and making updates as necessary
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all departments to ensure holistic resident care
  • Participate in continuous education initiatives
  • Maintain a valid RN/LPN license in the state
  • Exhibit professionalism and tact when interacting with staff, residents, families, visitors, and the public
Required Licenses or Certifications:
Registered Nursing License in the State of Wisconsin
