ResponsibilitiesPOSITION SUMMARYDelivery of treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 yearsEvaluation servicesJob-related department responsibilitiesPosition Functions and ResponsibilitiesProvide treatment for 10 – 12 patients per daySupervise student interns as directed by ManagerConduct initial Physical Therapy evaluations and re-evaluationsDevelop and review patient care plans in conjunction with PhysiatristParticipate in clinical quality assurance initiativesProvide patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentationComplete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards including but not limited to:Daily notation of therapyAll progress reports with updatesRehabilitation rounds/staff conferencesOther activities that may be assigned from time to time, i.e. splintingComply with established ESCR, Inc. policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service, attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, annual health assessments, etc.Participate in all departmental in-services and staff development activitiesQualificationsEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s/Doctorate in Physical Therapy with NYS License as a registered Physical Therapist.
