Roxbury Animal Clinic is a 6-doctor mixed animal practice in rural Litchfield County, CT looking to hire a full time veterinary technician. Certification in veterinary technology is preferred but not required, if experience level is commensurate with certification.

At RAC we strive to provide high quality medical and surgical services to the dogs, cats, horses & farm animals in our community, support our clients as they make decisions regarding pets and production animals, create and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with our local veterinary community and overall have fun at work while doing it. RAC is veterinarian-owned and operated and rapidly growing due to the local need for mixed animal veterinary care. As long as you have solid experience in one area of veterinary medicine, we can provide training with species with which you may not be familiar.

Prior veterinary experience is mandatory for this position.

Compensation will be dependent upon experience level.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week

Education:
* Associate (Required)

Experience:
* Veterinary experience: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:
* Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
