ServiceNow ITSM Senior Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services Role Overview Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow ITSM modules, ensuring alignment with approved design plans and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Configure and implement Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog, Mobile App, and Virtual Agent modules. Develop and maintain SQL and LDAP queries for integrations with Oracle, MySQL, and Active Directory. Conduct unit, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including pre‑iteration planning and retrospectives. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience as a ServiceNow ITSM Developer implementing ITSM processes. Ability to configure ServiceNow ITSM applications in alignment with approved design plans. Knowledge of unit testing, system integration testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, or any client‑specific testing. Experience developing ServiceNow software solutions using JavaScript, Jelly, Web Services, XML, HTML, and CSS. Familiarity with SQL query creation and LDAP query for connecting to and pulling data from Oracle, MySQL databases and AD. Understanding of repeatable processes for design, development, testing, staging and production environments with high availability. Must be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator. Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodology. Basic knowledge of ITIL and industry standards. Knowledge of SDLC. Behavioral competency. Effective communication with both non‑technical and technical audiences. Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with project team members.
