Role Summary Our Electrical Hardware Technical Program Management team is seeking a proactive Engineering Program Specialist (EPS) to drive CapEx and OpEx equipment acquisition efforts and ensure build and test readiness across the organization. You will be working directly with equipment suppliers, technical teams, procurement, and finance teams to enable time‑sensitive, critical‑path engineering work and R&D product testing. You will be directly responsible for equipment readiness/clear‑to‑test summaries and reports that will be used by engineering and purchasing stakeholders to assess test status and risks to program milestones. You will also be responsible for Electrical Hardware organization CapEx and Equipment OpEx budget roll up and invoice tracking across all R&D activities. Responsibilities Collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders – Technical Program Managers, Product Launch Engineering, Eng Operations Program Managers, Purchasing Managers, and Design/Component Engineering team members – to manage electrical and mechanical component BOM readiness and procurement activities. Develop, issue and track Purchase Orders and Invoices for equipment. Communicate directly with suppliers to monitor delivery schedules for CapEx and critical equipment items. Drive mitigation strategies with suppliers and internal technical partners when required to protect and recover schedules. Create reports to keep the cross‑functional teams and engineering leadership up‑to‑date on material readiness status, including risk assessments, mitigation strategies and help needed. Partner with Technical Program Managers and Eng Operations Program Managers on equipment purchasing and readiness management process improvements. Coordinate across engineering leads within the Electrical Hardware organization for overall budget development and track invoice status against budget envelope. Simultaneously manage multiple projects while effectively prioritizing competing demands. Qualifications 3+ years of relevant industry experience in procurement, logistics, and vendor management. BA/BS degree. Direct experience with equipment procurement and management. Direct experience with supplier management and logistics. Direct experience with organizational budget management. Pay Disclosure Salary Range for Palo Alto, California Based Applicants: $132,100 - $165,100. Salary Range for Irvine, California Based Applicants: $121,500 - $151,900.
