Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, is actively seeking a pediatric Physical Therapist or Experienced Physical Therapist Assistant* (*indirect license and school based experience required) to work 3 hours per week with school age children in the Reading, PA area for summer session transitioning to 3 days per week for the 2024-25 school year - a great way to jump into the school-based setting Seasoned clinicians and those exploring the school-based setting encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant:

Provide direct therapy to students from preschool to grade 12.
Consult with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom participation and maximize the student’s potential.
Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection, progress updates for marking periods, and yearly IEP revisions with updated goals and treatment strategies.
Attend IEP meetings as recommended.
Travel may be required throughout the school day.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Physical Therapist Assistant educational program.
Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant License
Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
