Childcare Regional Director – Healthy Kids Programs Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a Part Time Regional Director for our Before/After School and Summer Programs. The Regional Director will oversee the Healthy Kids Program operation across multiple locations, requiring travel within the region. Locations Frelinghuysen Elementary School – Newton, NJ Lopatcong Elementary School – Phillipsburg, NJ Knowlton Elementary School – Delaware, NJ Montague Township Elementary School – Montague, NJ Compensation & Work Hours Pay: $22–$23 per hour.Hours: Part Time. Reporting Structure Reports To: Associate Executive Director Direct Reports: Program Site Staff Job Responsibilities Manage all aspects of Before/After School and Summer Camp Programs. Recruit, supervise, professionally develop and train a highly qualified staff. Ensure operations follow New Jersey State Daycare, Before/After and Summer Camp regulations. Follow Healthy Kids Best Practices and curriculum. Provide superior classroom management and parent communication. Create a warm, nurturing, positive, safe environment. Avoid and proactively manage problems, handling incidents positively. Lead in an upbeat, confident style with effective communication. Monitor and address performance issues timely. Collaborate with Senior Regional and Executive Directors to improve programs. Attend leadership and executive staff meetings via Google Meets and in person as needed. Communicate organization’s policies, objectives, and budget limitations to area coordinators. Efficiently manage payroll. Work with Registration staff to ensure all students complete paperwork. Coordinate with Marketing for program materials. Maintain relationships with school principals, administration, custodial staff, DCF, and Childcare Councils. Grow the region and implement new programs. Liaise with other departments, senior management and parents. Adhere to and enforce Code of Conduct, policies, and New Jersey State guidelines. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Early Childhood Education or equivalent preferred). Familiarity with NJ State Childcare regulations preferred. 5 years supervisory experience (1 year managing staff in a child care setting, Business Management experience preferred). Superior administrative and supervisory skills preferably in a consumer‑driven environment. Excellent customer service and parent communication skills. Proven teamwork and team‑building experience. Commitment to delivering excellent programs and managing personnel expenses. Must pass full background check including fingerprinting and reference checking. Must be medically fit to perform job duties. Professional, reliable, punctual, warm, friendly, caring and upbeat personality. Excellent time management skills.
