Job Posting Summary We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time night shift position. The PICU at Wolfson Children's has achieved gold-level status by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. This means excellence in quality and safety, outstanding outcomes, parent satisfaction and a healthy environment. As a Registered Nurse for the PICU, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Providing patient care to pediatric population utilizing all aspects of the nursing process * Supervision of care provided by supportive personnel * Coordination of care provided by ancillary services * Including patients and families in developing and individualized plan of care * Education of patients and families to their disease process and plan of care * Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for providing care for critical patients that require a higher acuity of care * Uphold the hospital mission statement * Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities If you are interested in joining one of America's Best Children's Hospitals and a Magnet designated facility, Apply Today Full/Part Time Full-Time Shift Details Nights Education Required Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree Experience * 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred * 1-2 years Telemetry Experience * Hospital Experience Licenses and Certifications * Basic Life Support (BLS) Required * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred * Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred * Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred * Licensed Registered Nurse Required Location Overview Wolfson Children's Hospital is the only children's hospital in the region, serving North Florida, South Georgia and beyond.
