Our client, in Jacksonville, Fl is seeking Structural Fitters to join their team. As a Structural Fitter, you will be part of the production team supporting the entire manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have Great communication skills, good decision making and problem solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 1st class Structural Fitter

Location: Jacksonville, Fl (32218 and 32221)

Pay Range: $26 to $30 depending on skill test results.

Shift: Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm or Monday-Thursday 3pm-1:30am

What's the Job?

  • Cutting, prepping, fitting and tracking small to large: HSS box tubes, Angle, W-members, Flat plate, etc., from various material types through true-plumb-square: into weld ready status, by use of isometric and structural drawings, while adhering to specific fit tolerance requirements.
  • Operate overhead cranes and or forklifts
What's Needed?
  • The ability to properly select, measure, hand dress, score and cut with torch, air arc, plasma, grinder, power saws, hand tools, etc., as necessary to prepare metal surfaces for welding process.
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of related experience or training
