Come make an impact on the communities we serve as you help us advance health equity on a global scale. p>Hours:   Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm Enter prescriptions from intake to order completion and verify member / patient data Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices as a liaison for the pharmacy team Communicate clearly and concisely via phone and electronic methods to patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers Contact patients to complete refill assessments, request payment information, establish delivery details, and set up treatment in the Ambulatory Infusion Suite and/or other outpatient facilities Access, input, and retrieve prescription and medical/lab information from computer system Verify whether medication is reimbursable, and resolve rejected claims Able to multitask and channel communication from various business partners, driving patient centric quality care Follow all State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality code of ethics You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Iowa Intermediate experience with Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
