Clinical Dietitian – Inpatient (Part‑time, Day Shift) Clinical Dietitian at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange. Part‑time, 8‑hour day shifts. Responsibilities The dietitian, under general supervision, is part of a multidisciplinary care team. Key responsibilities include nutritional assessment, care‑plan formulation, documentation, and implementation; patient, staff, and community education; interval reassessments; and discharge planning. Age‑Related Competencies Demonstrates knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of patients served, including principles of growth and development and psychosocial characteristics for infants (0‑1 yr), children (1‑5 yr), school‑age (6‑12 yr), adolescents (13‑17 yr), young adults (18‑45 yr), middle adults (46‑60 yr), and older adults (60+ yr). Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics and Food Administration. Coursework/Training and successful completion of an internship approved by the American Dietetic Association. Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian – Commission on Dietetic Registration. 1 year of experience through internship. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Upon hire: RD with CNSC (Certified Nutrition Support Clinician) or CDE (Certified Diabetes Educator). 1 year of experience.
