*Job Title: *Plumbing Technician

*Reports to: * Service Manager

*Work Hours: * 8:00am – 5:00pm, over time as designated, some weekends and evenings

*Position Summary: * To provide maintenance and repair on residential and/or commercial plumbing systems according to company standards and building codes, providing the customer with a high quality experience.

*Required Qualifications and Achievements:*
* Valid driver’s license
* Insurable driving record
* Demonstrate willingness to invest time in training seminars and classes
* Work safely from a 28’ extension ladder and 12’ step ladder
* Ability to operate power and hand tools in a safe manner
* Ability to follow written and verbal directions as given
* Demonstrate advanced level mechanical aptitude
* Advanced ability to work with and communicate with customers and co-workers
* Demonstrate advanced iPad skills
* Demonstrate ability to assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
* Demonstrate working knowledge of soldering, threading pipe and using press tools.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints
* Journeyman License

*Desired Qualifications and/or Achievements:*
* Plumbing Tech School Certificate
* Prior Construction experience
* High School Diploma

*Essential Functions and Responsibilities:*
* Care for and maintain inventory of company issued tools
* Operate company vehicle as needed
* Report problems with company equipment, tools or vehicle promptly
* Follow instructions from supervisor and carry out in timely manner
* Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times
* Arrive at jobsite at scheduled time and location as dispatched
* Relocate from one jobsite to another jobsite as dispatched during the workday
* Inform customers about residential planned maintenance agreements
* Perform filter installation and service unassisted
* Communicate with customers and collect C.O.D. on maintenance visits as directed
* On call status for emergency service as scheduled
* Inform customers on additional products or services available through company
* Repair and maintain a variety of water treatment systems
* Perform planned maintenance on residential and light commercial plumbing systems
* Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing systems to detect, locate and resolve problems
* Leave jobsite cleaner than you found it
* Work staggered schedule as required
* Keep company truck and job site clean and organized.
